Five Years - Already?

Dear Family and Friends,

A couple of months ago, while attending Team Thailand's conference, Alberta and I were called forward. Surprise!  We were recognized for serving as Regional Member Care Coordinators for North Asia for five years. We were caught off guard, mentally doing the math to see if it was so! Sure enough we were just a few months short. At times, when we've been dealing with a challenging situation, it seems like time stops. But overall, it has been such a rewarding opportunity to provide pastoral care for Christian workers here in Asia. Thank you for the prayer, financial and moral support.  We couldn't do it without you!

Prayer Requests: 

1. Pray for us as we co-host a training for member care facilitators in Bangkok Jan. 18-22. We leave early tomorrow and will join member care representatives from 6 countries to dialogue about how to provide field orientation for the younger generation of Christian workers. 

2. Pray as we travel from Bangkok to Hua Hin for our next conference with workers that are coming out of Chn@. We will be there primarily to informally debrief folks about their past year of life and ministry. Dates - Jan. 23-27. 

3. Pray for Alberta as she continues her course work online while we travel. Her instructor told her cohort this would be one of their most difficult courses. Gee thanks! 

4. Pray for Heather in the home stretch of her first term at the University of Surrey in Guildford. Lots of papers, rehearsals and probably some tests thrown in there!

5. Pray for Krista as she puts the finishing touches on her application to the University of Edinburgh.
