Anna's Trip to the Big Country

We've mentioned our Ch!nese friend Anna in a few of our previous blogs. With the improvement of facial recognition technology accelerating, we won't post a picture of Anna here.  She has a passion for educating children and aspires to get Montessori training in the US. Currently, Bethany's Christian Montessori training program administrators are working on getting approval to accept international students, but they are not ready for Anna yet. 

Anna has been in Thailand for the last two years serving on the leadership team of YWAM. We met her back in January when she attended our member care training and have felt the Lord deepening our friendship. She traveled back to her home country Aug. 26th, hoping to stay for two months. She wanted to visit her family and support team. However, after speaking at one of her supporting chrches, people in the congregation were questioned by the authorities about Anna (not her real name). As a result, she has decided to cut short her visit and return here mid- month. 

Will you pray for Anna for a meaningful visit with family, good connections with her friends/supporters and clear sailing as she exits the big country and returns here. Also, pray for Anna as she waits for approval from the Montessori training program in Minnesota. For the time being, she plans to commit to a new ministry in Laos, working with children for the next 6 to 9 months.

1. Pray for Alberta as she finishes her last online course in her masters program. 
2. Pray for Krista as she starts her last year in her studies next week. 
3. Pray for me and Alberta as we deal with a difficult case in our member care work. We need wisdom as we network with professional counselors to care for a family in crisis.
