Empowering Women

In addition to Alberta's 3 year pursuit of her masters in Care and Counseling, she has faithfully worked on her development as a facilitator of women's ministry. It has taken 7 years but she persevered and completed the first of two certification trainings as a facilitator for Equipping Women International's (EWI) 4 discipleship workshops. 

In this last training she and two other facilitator trainees worked with 4 trainers to mentor 20 other women taking one of 4 courses offered by EWI. Not only has Alberta learned a lot about helping  women learn how to disciple other women in the Word, she has been greatly encouraged by the fellowship of those seeking to make a difference in the lives of the women they live and work among. Pray for her as she considers when and where she might take the final facilitator's certification training. 

Prayer Requests: 

1. Praise report: Thank you for your prayers for Heather. She finally landed a new 'flat'/apartment in Scotland. She also has a new roommate, a fellow believer from Denmark connected with Heather through their church families.
2. As we travel with Heather and Krista, pray for our family time to be meaningful. The girls have renewed friendships dating back 30 years. It will be hard to say goodbye as we head back to our respective homes. 
3. Pray for our visa situation. We will be letting our retirement visas expire and moving to tourist visas for the last 4 months in Thailand. Pray that our visa processing would be clear and straightforward.
