Bethany Annual Missionary Retreat

Greetings from Alberta, Canada as we continue on our 6 week trip through the upper mid-west and Canada. Hard to believe we are 2000 miles from Johnson City!

Reflecting back on our two weeks in Minnesota last month, the missionary retreat was definitely a highlight! We re-connected with old friends we hadn't seen in years. Twenty five furloughing missionaries gathered at Mt. Olivet retreat center in central MN to have a time of refreshing and renewal after some tough years overseas. Our workshops on "Grief and Loss" (Alberta) and "Stress" (Steve) were well received. We used meal times to to connect with those new to us to establish relationships and hear their stories. Thank you for your prayers for the success of the retreat. Pray for these folks as they wrap up their "home assignments" and make plans to return to their overseas ministry locations.

Prayer Requests: 

1. Pray for safe travels and continued opportunities to minister as we begin our return journey. We will visit one more supporting church in Ohio. 

2. Pray for our time and contacts here in Canada. In addition to spending time with Alberta's brother, George and sister in law Wilma, we will be visiting one of our member care teammates in Bethany, Kayla.
