Bethany Isabela Resumes Youth Camps

Good News from Bethany Isabela in the Philippines! After a 3 year hiatus, Bethany leadership was able to give the go ahead to re-start their summer youth camp program with great results. 

Over 200 campers gathered at Bethany's retreat center for 3 days of encouraging messages from Pastor Abe Rafanan, president of Bethany Mindoro. A large majority of the young people were attending for the first time. What a joy it is for us to see these two Bethany works 'cross pollinating' and supporting one another's growth. We visited both of these ministry centers on our recent trip to the Philippines. 

Pray with us for God's protection for the spiritual seeds planted among these young people. Pray for the Lord of the harvest to call many of those who attended to further their spiritual development and future ministry by applying to Bethany's School of Ministry.

Prayer Requests: 

1. Pray for Alberta and her co-facilitators as they approach the deadline for registration (July 31) for the seminar in Chiang Mai in October. They will have to decide whether to go ahead or postpone this year's training. 

2. Pray for Heather as she and her theatre development team and actors do research and practice this week at a theater in Glasgow. This is a necessary step in the development of a play before it actually becomes a finished product. She feels the weight of directing this process. 

3. Pray for our Bangladeshi friends, Omar and Shana (not their real names). Shana is pregnant with their first child and they live with a lot less conveniences than we would think possible. Pray for a safe and healthy pregnancy and delivery.
