The Latest on Daniel

There is good news and bad news regarding little Daniel. We recently moved Daniel to Gentle Hands, the children's home that we got him from. We expected him to be cared for there by Ferdie, the young man who has been such a big help to us for the past 3 months. When Ferdie and Daniel got back to Gentle Hands, Ferdie took off and surfaced a few days later in a province north of Manila where his mother lives. It has been heartbreaking to think of Daniel being separated from us and then deserted by Ferdie. The good news from Charity, the missionary lady that runs the children's home is, Daniel is eating and sleeping well and is happily being cared for by another teenage boy. Thank God for the resilience of children of Daniel's age (9 months). Please pray for Ferdie to remember his commitment and love for Daniel and that God would give him the grace to come back and face whatever struggles that led him away from his care for Daniel.
