Dear Family and Friends,
What a wonderful set of holidays we had!! Heather arrived from Oxford, England a
nd Tennessee after a marathon week of travel that took her through 10 airports in Europe, the US and Asia. Now back at school in TN, she reported sleeping 24 straight hours after arriving from the Philippines! One of the requests from Heather and Krista was to visit their childhood stomping grounds in Isabela. Our former helper of 15 years, Emedyn, planned her wedding to include our family in the festivities. It became the occasion to re-connect with many friendships that span 20 years.
Surprise!
While we were in Isabela visiting with the girls in December, a couple of people came up to me and said "Happy Birthday, Pastor". Strange, since my birthday isn't until later in January. Still, maybe they are just greeting me in advance because I won't be arou
nd later. Little did I know that Alberta had been plotting a surprise 60th birthday party during our visit to Isabela and these guys had almost let it out of the bag. About forty pastors/former students snuck in and blew me away. I am so grateful for relationships that continue to grow. What a great bunch of young people!

Pray for Heather as she settles back in at Milligan College.
2) Pray for us as we have the opportunity to minister at two churches later this month.
