Study of the Book of John - Nearing the Shore

Back in August of 2008 a Bible Study was begun with our neighbors, the Sorianos, and some Ilocano construction workers who were remodeling their home. When the construction was finished the Soriano family wanted to continue the study and our next door neighbors, the Belzas joined in. A year and a half later we are still going strong, hoping to finish up the book of John before we leave for the US in June. We are in chapter 20! We thank God that we can study the Word of God together even though we have different religious persuasions. Breaking this "bread of life" has deepened our friendship as neighbors and caused us to grow in our knowledge of and relationship to the Lord Jesus.

• Steve - Betania Christian Academy - closing ceremony - March 19.
• Steve - Bethany School of Church Planting - Graduation - April 6.
• Steve & Alberta - Bethany Joint Ministers conference - Mindoro April 29-May 2.

Praise Reports:

• Steve's MRI revealed that he won't need shoulder surgery.
  
• Alberta finally got a date to take her RN license renewal - April 6 - pray for good opportunities to study between now and then.
