A Dream Realized

About 5 years ago I (Steve) begin to sense a desire to be further equipped in the area of counseling. I signed up for a complete online course in counseling but soon realized that it was not going to work for me. I felt that counseling would be better learned in a live interactive environment between teachers and students. That would mean that I would need to find a resident program of training. That became a reality back in 2007 when I applied to Wheaton Graduate School. I needed to complete 10 hrs. of undergrad psychology courses on line in order to qualify for the Counseling Ministries masters program which I have now done. And so - here we go! We praise God for leading us and fulfilling the desire of our hearts.

Alberta has just returned from Tennessee where she helped Heather and Krista get settled in to college. Heather passed her drivers test and now the girls have wheels!

Prayer requests:

1. Alberta would land a part time nursing job here in Wheaton and find an online school to advance her nursing studies (more about that in another blog update).

2. Heather and Krista would sense the Lord's leading as they study.

3. Grace for us to adjust to living in America for more than 2 months a year.

What do the words winter and snow mean again??
