Our trip to the D.C. area was a great start on our 3 month deputation journey. We stayed with friends of 30 yrs., Bob and Patricia Marshall. They endorsed us to their church and to the men's fellowship Bob leads Saturday mornings. God met us as I shared about yielding rights to Him. We set up a display in the church foyer and had a short time to share on Sunday about our vision for pastoral care for missionaries in Asia. Several stopped by after the service to request more information about how they might be involved in our ministry. Thanks for your prayers for our travel and effective communication. We overnighted in Pennsylvania and will travel to Kitchener Ontario today to visit family and supportive friends there.
Please be praying for a retreat we will attend in Michigan Sept. 11-15. We are looking forward to a bit a rest and re-charging of our batteries after a busy year of work and studies.
