Almost Home!

Dear Family and Friends,

Its been two weeks and 2000 miles since we last updated you on our progress.

As the temperatures drop and the Christmas decorations come out - we are excited to be on the home stretch of our trip.

In Texas we had breakfast with 3 couples who I (Steve) worked with in the offshore oil industry.

We spent Thanksgiving in Alabama at my nephew Steve's place. Heather and Krista drove down from TN to join us. Great to see them after 3 months on the road.

In Florida Alberta and I joined friends in a retirement community for a game of shuffleboard with their neighbors. Competition was fierce. We didn't have beginners luck!

In Georgia we visited with friends from the Philippines, Joey and Iris Carreon (inset). Alberta worked with Iris at Faith Academy in the nurses' office.

Currently we are spending the weekend at a guesthouse operated by Missionary Care Ministry. Thanks to all who have hosted us these past three months.

Pray for our last week of travels and the follow up that we need to do as we communicate our vision to care to provide pastoral care for missionaries. Our desire is to return to Asia in February 2012 fully supported.
