Mile Post 10,597We have been constantly reminded of the beauty of God's creation as we have circumnavigated the USA. From the heavy snowfall in the Cascade mountain passes of the northwest to the desert landscape of the southwest we are awed by God's creativity.
Alberta and I are traveling together again. Both of our moms are back in their respective residences and doing well. Thanks for upholding them in your prayers. We are currently in Houston, Texas and will leave tomorrow for Alabama. My nephew Steve and his wife Marsha will host us fo
r Thanksgiving. Heather and Krista plan to drive down from TN so we are looking forward to a family reunion.
As we crossed the desert we couldn't help but think of the spiritual desert almost 3 billion people live in - a dry and thirsty place where the gospel of Jesus Christ has yet to be preached. This Thanksgiving let us give thanks for the Water of Life we possess and ask God how we can make a difference in the lives of those who haven't yet experienced Christ.
