One Step Closer

As we entered the Thai Embassy in Washington D.C. we were ever mindful of the absolute authority each country has over the affairs of their nation. We were also mindful of the prayers of a lot of folks for favor with the Thai officials. We fielded a few questions and provided additional documents that we had brought along just in case. Our passports were receipted and we expected to pick up our freshly minted visas today, Feb. 2. Then last night we received a brief strange email from the consular of the Thai Embassy stating that we had not provided enough information on our finances. We arrived at the embassy this morning with new documents and the first person we talked to said "what did you bring that for - your documents were complete Tuesday?" We explained that we had received the request for more documentation and, to make a long story short - we now have visas and tickets for Thailand. We leave Feb. 28. We still have a lot to do and a lot of ground to cover. Pray for the following itineraries.
1. Steve's sharing at Kings Chapel men's group in Fairfax Station VA Feb. 4
2. Travel from Virginia back to Tennessee Feb. 5.
3. Travel from Johnson City, TN to Wheaton, Il. Feb. 10
4. Phase 4 mission orientation at TEAM Hqtrs. Feb. 11-17
5. Travel from Wheaton, Il. to Northwood, ND Feb. 18

8. Feb. 22-23 - Traveling back to Tennessee

Serving Christ with You, Steve & Alberta
