Honduras Medical Outreach Update

Thank you for your prayers for me (Alberta) as I accompanied a ministry team to Tegucigalpa, Honduras last week. I had the great privilege of serving with a team under the leadership of World Gospel Outreach (WGO). The 51 member team converged in Honduras, hailing from 5 different states. The WGO leadership facilitated the outreach that included optical care, dental, medical, children's ministry, construction and evangelism.

We were split into 2 teams with components of each of the ministries represented in each team. A total of 4751 people received some type of ministry with over 200 receiving the greatest gift of all - salvation and eternal life through Jesus Christ. I was able to visit one of the families (see the smiles in the photo) receiving a concrete floor in their home. This 14 member family lives in a structure with 286 square feet. The joy on their faces reflects their thankfulness to the construction team for this wonderful gift.

1. Pray for the followup that the churches will do with those who made commitments to Christ during the outreach.

2. Pray for us as we continue to process our visa applications and make other preparations to head to Chiangmai Thailand at the end of February.
