Flipping Visas
One of the challenges of workers in Asia is the necessity of jumping through immigration hoops to keep visas current. Sometimes workers in our organization need to leave the countries where they are serving after 3 or 6 months in order to renew their visas. This is a boon for us - an opportunity to connect with them while they are on their 'visa run'. It also gives us a chance to provide hospitality to people like Philip (pictured here) and get to know our organization's personnel better. Chiang Mai is a popular destination for workers in Asia to come for medical treatment as well as just taking time away from their fields. In either case, we have a chance to spend time with them. Philip timed 'flipping his visa' with a visit to China, Thailand and Malaysia, where he attended a ministry workshop, before returning to Delhi, India.
Prayer Requests:
1. Steve will be preaching at a church in Chiang Mai called "The Gathering" on July 15. Pray for God's leading in preparation and anointing in delivery.
2. We have 5 major periods of travel during the months of August through December. Pray for our preparations this month as we contemplate each destination and the particular needs we may come upon.
