Dear Family and Friends,
Yesterday I learned that my dad has fallen several times at home and was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Northwood, ND. The attending physician told my dad that he would not be able to return to his home. He had been admitted into the hospital just a week previous for another fall. It's time for me (Steve) to return to North Dakota to support my family during this crisis. Alberta will remain in Thailand. My reservations have me traveling to Bangkok tomorrow, then Monday morning at 5:40 am on to Tokyo, a layover in Minneapolis and finally on to Grand Forks ND, arriving Monday night at 11 pm. I tentatively plan to return to Thailand Aug. 1. Please pray with us that my dad's physical condition will stabilize and he will adjust to living in an assisted care facility. Pray for my sisters and me as we attend to my parents needs in a dignified and respectful way.
