Arrival Philippines!

Welcoming Party 

What a joy to see all those smiling faces as we finally snagged our bags at Cauayan airport. It's great to be home and see so many friends (older and surely wiser). Many of them were students in the Bible school  where we served. Now they are colleagues in ministry with students of their own. 

Thank you for praying for us in our preparations for this trip. After the two hour taxi ride from the Manila airport to our guesthouse (15 miles distance) we realized that we will need all the grace we can get! 

Prayer Requests:

1) All the elders and pastors will be gathering tomorrow for a joint Christmas party - pray for me (Steve) as I  minister God's Word to Bethany's leaders. 

2) On Sunday, Dec. 23 - all Bethany's churches in Isabela are invited to converge on the Bethany Training Center. It is a day of overload in connecting with people whose names often escape us. Pray as I (Steve) preach the message that the Lord has given me that it would fit the needs that people have. 

3) Heather and Krista will be traveling to Michigan for Christmas - pray for a great time with their friends and a safe journey.
