Taiwan Team Turns a Corner
With Japanese Team members
At one time there were over 70 Christian workers with Team in Taiwan. Today they number about a dozen. Team once had orphanages, schools and hospitals from which they ministered to the Taiwanese.  Now these have been turned over to others and the remaining workers have been surveying the needs  to see where they might best impact the local people for Christ.

A new emphasis on the youthful poor is developing. Cram schools are becoming more and more common in junior and senior high school settings. However, poor kids can't afford these private schools. That's where Team workers have been stepping in.  Teaching English classes is always in big demand. They also offer help with all kinds of homework, developing relationships with  grateful kids.  Pray for Team's work in Taiwan that the Lord would bring more laborers to help in this new vision for the lost.

Sharing God's extravagant love for the lost
Thanks for your prayers for me and Alberta as we shared from God's word with Team's workers and another 20 of their partners that joined us for the conference sessions. The Taiwan Team conference is always on Thanksgiving holidays and we enjoyed their annual turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

Prayer Requests

Pray for us as we travel to the Philippines Dec. 19 - Jan 10. We will be ministering to church members of Bethany Isabela  and Bethany Mindoro.

We are also looking forward to seeing our former foster children. Christian (formerly Moses) Dunn and family are coming from Australia for a visit. Daniel and his adoptive mom live in Manila. Pray for our contact with these families.

Pray for safety on the road for Heather and Krista as they head to Michigan for Christmas with friends.

Serving Christ with You, Steve and Alberta
