Christmas Greetings from Thailand!

No one can remember a December as chilly as this one here in Chiang Mai. It has been in the 50s at night - record cool temps for this semi-tropical climate. That said, we are not complaining! Since Thai housing does not come with heating - one way to kill two birds with one stone: do your Christmas baking inside with the inefficient convection oven and stay toasty warm!

We are enjoying the visit of long time friends George and Barbara Foster and their daughters Anna and Olivia all the way from Shenyang, China. It's been great to catch up on our friendship after not seeing each other for a number of years.

Prayer Requests:

1. Pray for Heather and Krista as they travel to Detroit, MI from Johnson City, TN Dec. 23 and return Dec. 29. They will be visiting college friends and their family.
2. Pray for Steve as he facilitates prayer and counseling at a men's retreat in Chiang Mai January 10-12.
3. Pray for both of us as we provide pastoral care at a annual conference of Christian workers in southern Thailand Jan. 14-19. These workers come out of China every year to connect with their co-workers in a safe environment. Pray also for Steve as he shares from the Word on the importance of staying connected in the body of Christ.

Serving Christ with You, Steve and Alberta
