TEAM Thailand

Dear Family and Friends, 

Chiang Mai is a "hub of activity" for Team in more ways than one. There are several couples and a single committed to reaching the Thai Buddhists. There are also several of us that are part of a wider Asian Hub for Team, developing resources that can serve a wider body of workers throughout Asia. This is part of Team's new decentralized organizational model. The upshot of this new structure is that there are several of us in Chiang Mai with a completely different ministry focus. However, we do gather monthly for prayer and sharing and to celebrate our teamness. Pray for us to be a support for one another even though we are not on the same ministry teams.

Other Prayer Requests: 

1) For our trip to NE China Sept 17-28. We will be speaking to local couples through an interpreter. We are told they are all believers and they want to "make sure that they are living together as couples bringing glory to God". Pray the Lord would guide us in our messages to them.

2) Continue praying for Alberta as she studies online while traveling. The internet can be a bear sometimes in China.

3) Pray for Heather's last couple of weeks before traveling to study in England. Goodbyes will be especially challenging for this very relational girl/sister.

4) Pray for Krista's leadership in the public relations department at Milligan College as they ramp up communications about the 150th anniversary of the college. This is in addition to all the work associated with a new school year beginning.
