Living on the Inside 

Dear Family and Friends,

We are back from our trip to NE China and preparing for our next trip to NW China this Sunday. We visited two cities: in the first we had opportunity to fellowship and teach members of 'unregistered' discipleship group. The group, 20 strong, stayed earnestly engaged with our study for two hours that evening. Our second opportunity: a group affectionately called "lovely couples" wanted to learn more about successful marriages. We met in a private room at a restaurant where adventuresome menu options awaited (see above)! Over and over we sensed deep respect these couples had for God's Word and for our willingness to share with them. 

Our second ciy reached by a 4 hr. bullet train ride was near KN (visible across the river behind us in the picture). We were amazed to hear that Christian workers from a number of countries live and serve inside KN. Our purpose was to survey the challenges that new workers will face in the future. Join us in praying for the Lord of the Harvest to send workers into this spiritually dark field where the evil one holds so many captive.

Additional Prayer Requests:

1. Keep praying for Alberta's studies. It's been non-stop in between our meetings and travels.

2. Heather has arrived in England and is fully engaged in studies. Pray for her to adjust well and find a good spiritual home for her study year.

3. Pray for Krista as she works on her portfolio for her application to schools for next year.

4. Pray for traveling mercies as we head to NW China and for wisdom and God's presence with us as we meet with workers who are struggling.
