Glo-worms in Retreat

Somewhere in our Global Member Care Team's history the moniker "glo-worms" was affixed to its members. "Glo-worms" serving Asia, Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East gathered in Greenville, TN July 4th for 3 days of fellowship and encouragement. Our venue was a beautiful mansion previously used by a company to provide hospitality to its international guests. Now, having been dedicated to the Lord, it serves pastors, Christian overseas workers and their families as a first class retreat/conference center.

Our team has had a difficult year leading up to this retreat. Our former director (head and possible founding 'glo-worm') retired without a replacement in sight. We all chipped in to facilitate our virtual meetings but were so glad when we heard there was a candidate for the director's position in the pipeline. With the ink barely dry on his contract, our new director joined us in Greenville for our last two days of meetings. It was a joy to pray for him as he transitions to the leadership of TEAM's global pastoral care team.

Prayer Requests:

1. Pray for our new leader and our Team as we learn to work together to serve Team's overseas workers.
2. Thanks for your prayers for Alberta - she's caught up on papers from previous intensives - pray as we transition to Columbia, SC for her fall semester on campus.
3. Heather is home from England for a wedding of a friend. Pray for quality time for us as a family next week. She returns to England Aug. 9.

Serving Christ with You, Steve and Alberta
