None the Worse for Wear

Thirty four years ago, I (Steve) graduated from Bethany Global University in it's class of '83. This past June, twenty five of us made our way to back to Bethany's campus in Bloomington, MN.  It is amazing how one can connect in relationships with people you haven't seen for years, as if it were yesterday. Perhaps that is what Heaven will be like - deepening relationships  of which you only scratch the surface of here on Earth. 

We have moved to Columbia, SC. Our new address is 15 Woodpine Court, Columbia, SC 29212. We will be here for Columbia International University's fall semester. We'll update you on Alberta's studies next time. 

Prayer Requests:

1. Pray for Alberta as she goes through educational 'culture shock'. Its been 28 years since she has been in a classroom and she is feeling a bit overwhelmed with all things new. 

2. You've been praying for Krista's transition and we have a praise. She has secured an good apartment - a big hurdle in Atlanta. Continue praying for her transition to Savannah College of Art and Design in September.

3. Heather is in a big push to finish the final project of her Masters at the University of Surrey by early Sept. Pray for inspiration, endurance and balance between studies and rest. 

4. Pray for me (Steve) as I carry on many of our pastoral care responsibilities in Asia remotely via email and skype calls.
