The Red Eye Special 

We were in the midst of our visits to family and friends on the west coast when we heard the news. Alberta's mom, Greta, had stopped eating, drinking and taking medicine. We were in Portland, Or and decided we needed to change our plans to support Greta and be with our Canadian family. Our flight left at 11:25 pm on the 21 rst to Atlanta and on to Toronto - a true red eye flight! Heather was able to get a flight from Scotland on the 22nd and Krista from Atlanta yesterday so we are all together. We've all spent time with grandma and have said our goodbyes. 

1. Pray that God would bring her time on earth to a close peacefully with His grace.

2. Pray for us as we host an open house for the family at an Air Bnb we've rented. May the Lord be lifted up in our conversations with family and friends. 

3. Thank God with us as we celebrate a godly woman's passing into glory to meet the Lord she loved so much.
