Her Last Stroll (Not kidding) 

Just out for an afternoon stroll? Hardly. This goat and others like her were on their way to becoming a delicious part of the festivities celebrating "Dashain." Dashain is a week long festival throughout south Asia that celebrates the victory of the Hindu gods over demons. Our trip butted up against this major Nepali festival 😊. 

Our last minute trip to Nepal went well. Thank you for your prayers. We were able to give support to a family that needed to pack up and say their goodbyes in five short days. We helped with projects around the house and looked after their kids while they were out making arrangements for an extended absence from the field. Most of all, we were available to listen and encourage when the waves of grief and uncertainty threatened to overwhelm them. Pray for this family that they would see God in this transition and new season of life and He would bring emotional healing each member of the family.

Prayer Requests:

1. Pray for us to be able to catch up on work and rest after last week's unscheduled travel. 
2. Pray for Alberta's busy schedule - she will be a "facilitator in training" for an Equipping Women International seminar at the end of October into November that requires preparation and yet, she still has another week of assignments in her last course of her master's program. 
3. Continue to pray for Heather that she would land another director's job in Scotland and she and her roommate would find a better housing.
