Reunions in the RP
Our time in the 'RP' (Republic of the Philippines) with Heather and Krista was punctuated by many reunions. It was 10 years since we had been back as a family and an opportunity for the girls to see, through adult eyes, the places and people that populated their growing up years.
We had invitations to fellowship with the two churches we have had strong connections with since our early years. It was 30 years ago this year that Alberta and I started visiting door to door to begin Bible studies in the barrio of Gappal. Bethany Gappal church is celebrating 28 years this year. In addition to seeing so many friends in Isabela, we visited Faith Academy in Manila where the girls both graduated from high school. Some of the teachers were still there, having gently aged in the decade since the girls had seen them last. We thank God for the opportunity for the girls to return to the country they grew up in and solidify great memories from the past.

Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for Alberta and I as we prepare several work shops for TEAM's Asia Pacific Region 2020 conference in February. This is the first time in recent memory all ministry areas throughout Asia have been brought together. We are expecting over 200 adults and as many children.
2. Pray for a us in new opportunity to visit Nagaland, India. We will attend the ordination of a TEAM worker from Nagaland in March. We have been requested by church leaders to train them on how they can care for a growing number of their members sensing the calling to serve God in other countries.
Praise update from Hanoi, Vietnam - our 60 day tourist visas have been granted! Thanks for praying.
