Side Trip to San Jose 

Heather and Krista headed back to England Dec. 16, after our reunion in the Philippines. The following day Alberta and I flew to Mindoro Island. For more than 25 years we have been visiting Bethany's work in San Jose, Mindoro. It has been rewarding to see the growth of their ministries and be an encouragement to the leaders whenever we can. One of the pastors asked us to speak to the prisoners at the local jail where he had weekly meetings and we gladly accepted the invitation.

Pastor Renato, a former policeman in San Jose, tells the prisoners "before I retired I was chasing you to lock you up in here. Now, as a follower of Jesus I come into this prison to see you set free from sin." We praise God for the maturity and vision these Bethany leaders demonstrate as they engage their community. 

Prayer Requests: 

1. Continue to pray for us as we prepare workshops for TEAM's first Asia Pacific Regional Conference, which will bring workers from all over Asia to Thailand. 
2. Pray for us as we continue to transition parts of our responsibilities to others in anticipation of re-locating to the US.
