Stuck in India!

As we continue to periodically 'Zoom in' and support co-workers in Asia, inevitably - on the surface - we hear of the problem. Take Nadim and Wanda (not their real names), the couple we joined in Nagaland, India back in March. They had planned to return to Thailand mid-April but that became impossible due to restrictions in India and Thailand. Now stuck for 3 months, they hope to be able to return to Thailand in July. 

As so often happens when serving God, silver linings appears as one looks to God in trying times. The vision for a new training center in the NE of India has become a topic of consideration for Nadim and Wanda as a result of their extended time in Nagaland. Time spent with Nadim's  aging parents and extended relatives is making memories for the whole family that will be looked back on some day with fondness! Stirring up local church leaders to consider missions in his new position as a Reverend has given Nadim a voice that would not have had as much impact if telecommunicated from Thailand. Its so good to be able to reflect on the positive instead of the problem. Pray for Nadim and Wanda that they will be cleared to not only leave India but enter Thailand. 

Prayer Requests:

1. Pray for Heather as she applies for a longer term visa to stay in the UK and work. She is beginning the application process for a new visa by the end of year.

2. Continue to pray for Krista as she searches for employment.

3. We recently met with Bethany's member care dept. and are fine tuning how we will continue to work with Bethany, assisting them in member care. Pray for them and us as we settle on a good approach to working together.
