Practicing What We Preach

After 18 months of busy schedules, it was time for a few days of R&R.  We drove 6 hrs. to Myrtle beach and stayed in a relaxing Air bnb reading, swimming and visiting the local state park on the seashore. We often counsel missionaries to take time off and get refreshed as it adds to their resiliency. It was time to take our own advice! 😀  

Prayer Requests: 

1. Pray for Alberta as she continues with the course her 'Equipping Women Int." team is facilitating over Zoom. The course's time is 8 - 11 pm EDT - helpful for the ladies in Asia but a stretch for those on the US east coast! 

2. Pray for us as we begin meeting regularly with the Bethany member care team after a summer hiatus. 

3. Pray for our former teammate from the Philippines, Carol Freeman, who was hospitalized with a serious case of Covid yesterday. She is on a ventilator but we've heard that they've been able to reduce her O2 from 100 % to 60 % today.

4. Pray for Heather as her new roommate from Germany arrives today. Pray that their adjustment to one another goes well.
