Expanding the Filipina Hub for Equipping Women International

Greetings from Cauayan Isabela, Philippines. In addition to our goal of encouraging our Bethany family of churches and the Filipino leadership teams, Alberta wanted to spark interest in the "Equipping Women International" training for Filipinas. She has already done 2 introductory seminars (3-5 hr. samples) to inform ladies in Bethany Mindoro and Bethany Isabela of this training opportunity. She was asked to repeat the seminar here in Isabela to give opportunity to more women who couldn't make the first seminar.  Pray for her as she prepares to repeat the training on Thursday (March 2). 

Our hearts are full as we reconnect with old friends and the extended Bethany family in both these locations. More stories to come! 

Prayer Requests:

1. Pray for our health - Alberta caught a bad case of bronchitis from a sick person on one of our first flights and is just now getting over a bad cough. We don't always appreciate what a blessing our health is until we lose it. 

2. Pray for continued ministry opportunities. I (Steve) will be preaching in our original church planting site (Gappal) next Sunday and there will be a surprise visitor from our early days in the village. We have recently gotten back in contact with him and he wants to share his journey to faith that began in Gappal with he was 7 yrs. old. Pray he will be able to join us - coming all the way from Manila.

3. Pray for continued journeying mercies for both me and Alberta. On March 7 I fly back to TN and Alberta travels on to Chiang Mai for strategic leadership meetings with Equipping Women Int. for 5 days.
