Honduras Medical Outreach Update,

Dear Family and Friends,

Here is an update from the medical team that Alberta is with in Honduras.

Today was Day 2 of our time with the brothers and sisters of the Nueva Capital neighborhood in the mountains outside of Tegucigalpa. We poured two more floors for very grateful families. 60 Bibles and even more New Testaments were given out in the Evangelism station today. Some adults will come back to the church to pick up their Bibles and be encouraged to continue in their walk by the pastor there. Medical was swamped as usual as was children’s ministry. There were kids everywhere! Not to be outdone, optical and dentistry remained busy all day. Even the chiropractic station was hopping. Again the Hondurans arrived early and waited patiently in the heat and sun for their turns. We are thrilled to report that 1,862 people were served in just our first two days of brigade.
Needless to say it was a great day! The team is tired, but happy and healthy, and thankful for your continued prayers. Tomorrow we head to Rancho Ebenezer to meet up with the other half of our mission team and meet the children who live there. Everyone sends their love!

Hasta Manana! (Until tomorrow)
