Famous Dave

Last week provided a short window of time to head north for a visit to Bethany headquarters in Minneapolis as well as a quick run up to my parent's place in North Dakota. Since it was nearing Father's Day we decided to celebrate early by bringing Famous Dave's barbecue (my Dad's name is David) up from Fargo. We had a good visit (24 hrs.) and actually got a lot of work done for my mom and dad. They have just moved back to their home from an assisted living apartment. We would appreciate your prayers for them as they consider their options for fall and winter.

Consolidation

We were able to check off another job from our list last weekend as we gathered up our stored personal items from Bethany and loaded up a U-haul trailer and brought them to Wheaton. The next stage of our move will come at the end of July when we share a u-haul truck with another missionary family and drive everything to Tennessee.

Completion

I finished my last academic class yesterday. What a relief and what a wonderful experience my studies at Wheaton have been! My last class was "Sexuality and Sex Therapy". It was great class and funny sometimes. For instance, the instructor would be explaining something pretty intimate and forget to close the door. Folks passing by in the hall way got, well, an ear full! I still have about a month of internship to finish up with TEAM.
