Roland and Kieng Heck formerly served with Bethany missions in Cambodia. Roland now serves with Global Recordings, a Christian organization committed to recording scripture portions in every language on earth. Each month Global Recordings hosts an information meeting for the surrounding community. The meeting focuses on a particular country, its history, culture and spiritual state. Roland invited me to present a brief history of God's work in the Philippines, the current status of church and the vision it has to make the Philippines nation a sending nation for the gospel.
Breaking news! Alberta will be re-joining me tonight (Sat. Nov. 12) in Los Angeles. We will complete our visit of the LA area Sunday and head eastward to Arizona on Monday. As you can see in the upper left hand corner of the blog - our set up fund is nearing the half way mark. Praise the Lord! In His perfect time - our needs will be met.
