Nepal's Far West

Our one hour plus flight from Katmandu to Dangadhi in a twin engined prop plane went smoothly. However, our 4 hr. journey up the mountain to Dadeldhura was anything but smooth. Our Nascar wannabe driver might have set a new record for the trip if he hadn't blown a tire just before we arrived. The view is spectacular and we're told that seeing the Himalayas in the distance is rare this time of year, so we are in for a treat! We really feel the workers we are visiting are expressing the love of God to the Nepali people in very tangible ways. Ministering to the medical needs of the poor and training local teachers in effective educational methods are just a couple of ways that the team are being the hands and feet of Christ. We had a chance to accompany a couple from the team as they did health screening in one of the local private schools.

Thanks for your prayers for us as we get to know the workers and their ministries. We are having positive meetings with the workers here both individually and as a group.
