Goodbye to Nepal (for now:)

We finished up our visit to Nepal after 2 wonderful weeks visiting God's servants in a challenging environment. I, Steve, spoke at a team meeting and also had an opportunity to speak to 20 Nepali doctors about burnout and balance. We visited a Nepali church one Sunday and learned of the great sacrifices people are making to follow Christ. Thank you for praying for safety for us. Traveling in small planes in mountainous regions stirs 0ur appreciation for your prayer support!

India and the Pantheon of Hinduism

As we moved on to India we sensed the encouragement in the workers we visited that God is at work in this second largest nation of the world. It is hard to believe that people would be satisfied with a philosophy that allowed for millions of gods. The workers we visited all have the common ground that they are coming alongside nationals to help them grow, develop and reach out to the lost. We, again had the opportunity to speak into the lives of this group of workers laboring in physically, emotionally and spiritually difficult circumstances. We would ask you to especially pray for one of the couples that God would do a miracle, moving the hearts of those officials that have the power to grant them a new visa.
We have posted a few more pictures of this trip. To view them click on this link. http://flickr.com/photos/41581865@N00/

Thanks for praying for us as we head to China from Sept. 19-29. Both Alberta and I will be sharing from the Word at a retreat of Christian workers.

Serving Christ with You, Steve & Alberta
