Call 2 All Asia Leadership Congress
A few weeks ago a major leadership congress called "Call2All" was held in Chiang Mai. A number of our colleagues in ministry from the US arrived in town to promote an innovative concept of printing dubbed "Publish4All" (P4A) www.publish4all.com. We were 'all in' for a week helping to set up the booth, moving equipment and talking to interested parties about the concept.
Basically, P4A is an ink jet print system that includes 3 printers, a computer, a laminator, binder and cutter. The whole system can be placed on a pallet and shipped anywhere in the world. The developers have even designed a unit that can run on solar power redefining what is meant by 'remote printing'. After the initial investment of the system, a 200 page book can be printed for less than a dollar, making P4A materials more affordable for the many poor who desperately need Christian literature. Let's pray that many of these P4A print systems would be sponsored to needy areas of the world so that Christian materials can reach them.
Prayer Requests:
1. Effective monthly Skype calls to the various fields we relate to and the home office.
2. Our contribution to the refinement of member care strategy within our service organization, Team.
3. Our aging parents: Alberta's mom is in an assisted living facility, Steve's mom - nursing home, Steve's dad - apt. adjoining the nursing home.
