Bethany's Global Internship Program

Bethany College of Mission runs a sixteen month global internship program in Chiang Mai. Here we are pictured with the leadership team and one of the several adjunct professors that travels between internship sites. Studying a major world religion like Buddhism in the midst of a Buddhist culture has great advantages for students preparing for a career in world missions. We respect the sacrifices of these mentors have made and are glad we can come alongside them and support them in their lives and ministry.

                     Thai Orchids

Did you know that there are 1300 varieties of orchids in Thailand alone (25,000 worldwide). It is rainy season here but we were able to slip out to enjoy a local orchid farm last weekend. Over half the orchids grown in Thailand are for export. They are probably coming to a florist near you!

Prayer Requests: 

1. Pray for Team's member care facilitators to find the time and resources to make the trip to Chiang Mai in October for the member care workshop we are hosting.
2. Pray for Heather as the beginning of her theater internship draws near.
3. Pray for Krista as she prepares to move back to Milligan College for her senior year. Has it really come to this??
