A Run For It in Istanbul

A strange city (Istanbul), a missed connecting flight and baggage not showing up at the baggage carousel: a traveler's night-mare! Then the Turkish airline agent  re-booking our flight said "there is another flight but you are going to have to run". We did! Jogging from the Domestic to the International terminal in 20 minutes, with our luggage, we just made the cutoff. Travel is half the battle in our efforts to be present where Christian workers need us. 

Member Care in Hard Places

The Tri-annual Global Member Care Conference in Antalya, Turkey focused on doing member care where Christians are being persecuted. Our workshops pushed us to think outside the box in how to support people in these regions. We strengthened our member care network by connecting with pastoral care workers from 40 different nations. We are thankful to have been able to grow in this conference setting.

Bangalore Conference

When in India... 

From Turkey, we took an overnight flight to Bangalore, India to participate in Team's annual India conference. Alberta and I each shared sessions on the impact of stress on work, family and personal health. Thanks for your prayers. We felt our ministry was well-received.

Prayer Requests: 

1. Member care visit to Taiwan - March 16-21 - pray for good contact with individual workers.
2.  From Taiwan we travel to the Philippines for a two week visit (March 22-April  10). We will both be ministering at the Joint Minister's Conference of Bethany pastors from Isabela and Mindoro. Pray for God's anointing as we share.
