Seizing the Moment 

Just as one sometimes finds himself in the right place at the right time to catch a unique picture, we found ourselves with a perfect opportunity to deepen our member care network in a ministry area that was going through transition. The setting: an annual conference of Christian workers from China, meeting at a beach resort in south Thailand. The opportunity: a change in leadership and the surfacing of available personnel to become member care facilitators (MCFs) for a ministry area (MA) that had become large enough to become two MAs. After conferring with the two new leaders and the prospective MCFs and receiving the green light, we announced the two new member care personnel to their co-workers and gave a short orientation of how they fit into Team's member care coverage.

Pray for networking opportunities as we interact with other member care professionals at the triennial Global Member Care Consultation in Antalya,Turkey Feb. 9-13. 

Pray for our "state of the region" report we will be making to Team's global member care team at our annual retreat  Feb. 13-16, also in Turkey.

Pray for our participation in the India/Sri Lanka annual conf. in Bangalore, India Feb. 17-20 as we speak and interact with Christian workers there.
