Transitions: Goodbye and Hello 

Last meal for a while with Eng and Linda 

Dear Family and Friends,

We said goodbye to two of our friends from our Filipino fellowship group recently as they will be spending the next year on furlough in Canada. Christian workers overseas often seek out support networks to augment the relationships they have in their ministries. When hardships come these groups foster resilience, helping the persons struggling through their hard times. We will miss our Canada bound friends but are already looking forward to a new single Filipina that will join us in August. Pray for us as we seek to create family far from our homelands.

Prayer Requests: 

1. Pray for Steve's dad who fell recently. Pray for his health and his living situation. He's living on the edge of needing to be in an assisted living facility where his environment can be better controlled.

2. Pray for us as we continue to plan itineraries for fall travel.

3. Pray for our sensitivity to and preparation for the types of encouragement and care needed in each of the ministry areas we will visit.
