Krista Goes to Atlanta

Just a few months ago Krista was trying to decide between two schools in England as to which of them would be better to do a Masters of Fine Arts. She had also been accepted at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Atlanta, GA but felt the price tag was out of her reach. Then an email appeared in her inbox. The SCAD registrar was asking if she would like to interview for a full tuition fellowship? "Well, yes as a matter of fact I would" she shot back. After a 15 minute skype call Krista remarked "Dad, I don't know but I really felt it went well!" A few days later she was notified she had been accepted for the fellowship. There was nothing left to do but give notice at her job at Milligan College, say her goodbyes and pack the rental truck for the 4 hr. trip to Atlanta. Thank God with us for this wonderful opportunity and pray for Krista as she adjusts to the challenging 3 yr. program of study. 

Prayer Requests:

1. Alberta and I will attend the Pastor to Missionary (PTM) conference in Ridgecrest, NC Oct. 3-6. Pray for us as we are equipped to better provide pastoral care for the Christian workers of our region. 
2.  Pray for Heather as she adjusts to her new Masters program at the Royal Conservatory of Scotland in Glasgow. More about that next time.
