Happy Hogmanay!
Dear Family and Friends,
Greetings from Glasgow, Scotland! Hogmanay is the Scottish New Year's Eve celebration observed throughout the country. We've just completed a whirlwind week visit to Scotland where Heather is studying. We were so glad Krista could be with us too. We had opportunity to visit the Highlands, hike in the hills, and dine is a cozy country Pub. We also visited the Glasgow Cathedral, a church that predated the Reformation (founded in the 12th century) and, in the adjoining cemetery, observed a 30 ft. memorial to the John Knox, who brought the reformation to Scotland. What a way to say goodbye to 2017!
Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for Heather as she has a full schedule of classes and productions in her theater direction major. Also pray for her as she works on her Canadian citizenship - something that may help her in pursuing work opportunities in England after she completes her studies.
2. Pray for Krista, back in Atlanta as her illustration studies ramp back up at Savannah College of Art and Design.
3. Pray for Alberta and I as we fly back to Thailand (tonight) from London. We have a lot of work waiting for us after 6 months in the US for Alberta's studies.
4. Pray for us as a family as we miss each other after having such a great family vacation.
Thank you for your prayers, support and connection with us through the year. We appreciate each and everyone of you!
Serving Christ with You, Steve and Alberta
