Nepal Trip Update
Dear Family and Friends,
Our 4 days in Nepal were full to the brim with 20 debriefs of Christian workers from India and Nepal. We realized how varied the workers lives were from the stories they told. One medical worker served in the jungle area of southern Nepal where she treated her landlord who had been bitten by a tiger. Another gal shared of her life at 13,000 ft., teaching English to village children in the small local school. With cold, primitive living conditions, bathing was not an option. It was tolerable in the village because 'non-bathing' was part of the culture. However, on the bus trip down the mountain, as temperatures warmed - it was another story. "I wonder what that smell is? Oops! It's probably me!"
Woven through these life stories is the spread of the Gospel in word and deed. We value tracking with these saints year by year. Some visits are uneventful but relationships are built. Then when they need extra help or resources, we are not strangers to them.

1. Pray for our time in the Philippines - March 29-April 9. I (Steve) will speak twice during Holy Week and we will attend the wedding of our spiritual daughter, Jenny, and her fiancee, Rommel.
2. Pray for us as we work on our travel schedule for our stateside time. With a member care team retreat and an intensive one week class for Alberta in South Carolina, we will be quite restricted in where we can visit this year.
3. Pray for Krista and Heather, deep in their studies. And pray for their mom and dad, wishing they could spend more time with them!
Serving Christ with You, Steve and Alberta
