At A Moment's Notice

Dear Family and Friends,

One of the benefits of being based in Asia is having the capacity to be able to respond to emergencies in the region we serve. We had just such an opportunity last week when we were put on notice of a need in one of the countries for which we provide pastoral care. We had about 24 hrs. to prepare and were given the go ahead to book tickets and travel the next day. Along with a regional leader, we were able to be on the ground within 3 days of our being made known of the need. We are thankful for TEAM's responsiveness in committing time, people and resources to their field personnel's needs. Over and over again, the field workers expressed their appreciation for our prompt response to their request for help. We are back in Thailand now and ask that you pray for full resolution to this situation as we continue to work on it. 

Prayer Requests:  

1. Pray for Krista's new term at Savannah College of Art and Design as she develops her schedule of classes and work. 
2. Praise God with us for Heather's just completed masters in Scotland. Pray for her as she settles into a 'flat' and looks for employment opportunities for the future. Pray for a favorable response to her request for a 1-2 yr. visa for the UK. 
3. Pray for Alberta as she prepares for her "Equipping Women Int." 10 day workshop in October.
