Equipping Women International

Back in 2013 Alberta signed up for a 4 part women's discipleship course that would take her 7 years to finish. Each course is offered once a year in Chiang Mai but for the last 3 years, our work schedule and Equipping Women Int.'s (EWI) schedule did not dovetail. This year our schedule allowed Alberta to fit the final level in between a trip to the big country and Heather's visit. These four trainings have helped Alberta understand adult relational learning and develop personal mentoring skills while enhancing her personal spiritual growth in the process. She experienced a meaningful camaraderie with other women serving in cross cultural ministry. Some of her fellow students are serving in 'creative access' countries so we've had to distort their faces to protect their identity where they serve. Pray for Alberta as she applies what she has learned into everyday ministry life. 

Prayer Requests: 

1. Pray for us as we prepare to travel to Nepal early January. Pray that we would be skilled in listening to the stories of the people we meet with and be able to encourage them in seeing God present with them in their challenges.

2. Pray for good times of fellowship for Heather and Krista as they travel together during their coincidental holiday break. 

3. Pray for us as we continue to work on the logistics of the member care facilitator training that we are co-hosting in later January.
