Tender Loving Care 

It's fun to see an old car here in Thailand that has had plenty of "TLC". It is even more "fun" to be complimented for doing your job of caring for Christian workers! As we headed for lunch to meet with one of TEAM's workers in Taiwan, we ran into a lady leaving the International Christian School, Morrison Academy. She asked what brought us to Taiwan. When we told her we were on a pastoral care visit to TEAM's workers in Taiwan she commended us for making the effort to physically visit TEAM's workers. Their organization had not made the same priority of caring for their members as TEAM, and she could count 5 couples that had left the field in the last two years who "didn't feel cared for". She felt their departures were due to the organization's failure to come alongside them in times of need. Pray for our co-worker, Linda Fox, who accompanied us to Taiwan, as she continues her transition into the role of overseeing member care for a number of east Asia fields. 

Prayer Requests: 

1. Pray for Alberta as she begins the Christian Medical and Dental Associations continuing education seminar. For the next 10 days she will be commuting to a local venue of this "CEU" training to keep up her nursing license. 

2. Pray for good connections with workers from India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka as we travel to Sri Lanka for their annual conference Feb 27 to March 6th.

3. Pray for our co-workers, Mike and Cindy Helvie. Mike's dad was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his intestines. Mike, who was going to join us in Sri Lanka, has traveled to the US to be with his dad and family.
