What You Can Do for the Ms in Your Life
We call overseas Christian workers "Ms" so as to not draw unwanted scrutiny to their ministry in sensitive locations. We had the privilege of meeting with a Bible study group in a church in Ohio and helping them wrestle with the question - "How do you as a church and as individuals - engage with an "M" when they come to visit your area? Putting them on a pedestal or avoiding contact because you feel awkward produces the same result: they feel isolated and alone.
Often what these workers desire when they visit you is a sense of acceptance and community. The next time you have an "M" visiting in your area - make the connection. Ask them over. Ask them what's been hard for them this past term. Ask them 3 things you could pray for them about. You would be amazed to learn that they are not unlike you!

Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for us as we begin our journey back to Thailand Thursday. May we find opportunities to share Christ on planes and airports, numbering our days.
2. Pray for Heather in the thick of rehearsals for the play she will direct at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August.
3. Pray for Krista in her summer studies which include an online course and an internship with a freelance illustrator.
