Member Care For Malawi

 As we mentioned in a previous update, requests for help to develop member care tools is on the rise across the globe. Once, primarily a capacity of the western cross cultural sending agencies, member care is more and more being desired by workers of Asian nations and those from the 'global south'. 

These regions are experiencing strong growth in numbers of workers ready to take the gospel to the unreached peoples of the world. We joined a Zoom call with Bethany leaders and a couple in Malawi  to begin the process of defining what pastoral care for cross cultural workers looks like in the Malawian context. Pray for us as we field this and other requests to help prepare and care for cross cultural workers of different regions as they take the gospel to the unreached. 

Prayer Requests: 

1. Pray for me and Alberta as we participate in a member care course of Bethany Global University. We are helping to facilitate panel discussions and lead small groups during the 10 week term. 

2. Pray for Heather's visa process to continue to progress. She and Alberta traveled to South Carolina yesterday to process documents. Now she will send them to Scotland and await the approval.
