Heather is Scotland Bound
One of our neighbors gave us these Christmas mugs and enough Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate mix for many cold wintry nights! We had a great timing hanging out, playing games and had some great meals together (with a variety of chefs at the helm).
Some of the girls' college friends still live in the area. They were invited over and the house was filled with laughter and stories. We are grateful to be able to have gotten together as a family under the cloud of Covid-19.
As I write this, Heather is boarding a plane in Atlanta to begin her journey back to Scotland. We thank each of you for your prayers and financial support this past year and wish you a blessed New Year.
Prayer Requests:
1. Pray for Heather's flights and trains to go well. She should get home to Glasgow Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 18).
2. Pray for me and Alberta as we prepare for teaching at Bethany Global University for this 'spring' semester (spring in Minnesota is a matter of opinion).
3. Pray for the family of our neighbor Carla who passed away last Friday. I (Steve) had a chance to write out my testimony and give it to her son, Chuck, to read to her. He seems very open so we plan to get together after they are more settled in making arrangements for her funeral.
Serving Christ with You, Steve and Alberta
