Keeping Up to Date 

Bethany International has been growing in the area of effective international partnerships. They are doing serious research in the area of exponential growth and people movements in the wider Christian church. As a result they are encouraging Bethany cross cultural workers to sign up for a 14 lesson course on how to be a part of a 'move of God'. I took this course last summer for two reasons. For one, I want to understand how I can be part of a Spirit led move of God. Second, as a pastoral counselor, I want to understand the motivations and expectations of Bethany's cross cultural workers of themselves. I want to be able to help them when they are trying to figure out how the teaching applies to them. Pray for us as we participate in 'life long learning' opportunities like these to understand how we can grow ourselves and help others lead healthy effective lives. 

Prayer Requests: 

1. Pray for us both as we teach and facilitate in Bethany Global University's member care course for senior students. This is one of the last courses the seniors take before they consider their next step in missions. Pray for the seniors as they seek God about that next step.

2. Pray for Heather, recovering from Covid, and on the hunt for a new job to replace the temporary job she has ending in March.

3. Pray for one of our spiritual daughters, Melo Fiesta who lived with us for two years in the Philippines. She now lives in the US and was recently engaged. We are thrilled for her. She is in the US Navy and will be deployed to Kuwait for 6 months in March. Pray for God's protection - we learned that she will be issued a helmet and body armor as part of her 'standard' equipment!
